*Keke Palmer is set for the first season of Ryan Murphy’s new anthology series “Scream Queens” for FOX.
The first installment revolves around a series of murders at a college campus.
FOX has ordered 15 one-hour episodes, which will begin production this spring for a fall premiere. Like Murphy’s “American Horror Story” and upcoming “American Crime” anthologies, new settings and storylines will be featured in subsequent seasons.
Also on board for “Scream Queens” season 1: Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello, Abigail Breslin, Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Murphy is executive producing alongside his “Glee” and “AHS” partners Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto.
“I knew I wanted to work with Brad and Ian again on something comedic, and we are having a blast writing ‘Scream Queens,’” commented Murphy. “We hope to create a whole new genre – comedy-horror – and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads.
