NY Times’ Charles Blow’s Son Stopped at Gunpoint by Yale Police

Charles Blow*New York Times columnist Charles Blow voiced his outrage late Saturday night after Yale University police stopped his son at gunpoint.

According to Mediaite.com, Blows’ son, a third year biology student  was walking home from the library, when Yale officers stopped him.

Tweeting about the incident, Blow mentioned that his son was stopped because he “fit the description” of a suspect they were looking for.

Racial profiling is something Blow is very familiar with, in light of the fact that he has written extensively about the subject. The following are some of the tweets Blow sent out to his 121,000 followers, including posts that have garnered over 1,000 retweets:
