*The Weeknd‘s weekend wasn’t all that great since he ended up behind bars for allegedly punching a cop in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.
The R&B singer was involved in a fight outside of Cromwell Hotel around 4:20 a.m. and as soon as the police arrived, it was still occurring.
Law Enforcement tried to break up the fight. One of the cops pulled Weeknd into an elevator, and he allegedly punched said cop in the head.
He was then quickly sent off to jail for the battery of a protected person. But the “Love Me Harder” singer didn’t stay there long.
He made bail. And then posted a photo on Instagram of him “leaving Las Vegas” on a private jet captioned, “escaped from Las Vegas.”
