“Still Praying 4 Bobbi Kristina I see sum ppl making jokes She lost her mom thats tougher than u may think 2 deal with,” the rapper, 43, tweeted on Feb. 1.
The daughter of the late Whitney Houston was hospitalized over the weekend after being found unconscious and facedown in the bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia home on Jan. 31. Elliott has a close relationship with Bobbi Kristina, 21, and opened up about it to The Insider.
“Bobbi is like a little sister to me,” she said. “I have been very close to her mother. One thing that her mother said to me before she passed away was to make sure Bobbi Kristina was straight, so my prayers for healing [are] that she comes out and be around people that love her.”
As previously reported, Brown has been in a medically induced coma since Saturday as doctors work to improve her condition. A preliminary search found no drugs “out in the open” at her home.
Her father Bobby Brown flew to be by her side, releasing a statement, saying, “Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.”
Almost exactly three years ago, Grammy-winning superstar Houston was found dead at age 48 in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills Hotel room on Feb. 11, 2012.
