*Yes, it’s that time time and folks are readying themselves for the biggest party of the year, New York Comic Con.

Last year New York attendance numbers trumped the much-ballyhooed San Francisco convention.

Tickets for New York Comic Con 2015 are on sale now. The dates are October 8-11, in the Javits Center. Tickets go quickly, so if you want to be in the mix, jump on it now. Adults and children dress up in their favorite costumes and big fun is had by all. There are many panels where stars from the movies and TV show up to answer fan questions, games, and contests.

All attendees six-years-old and up need a Ticket for New York Comic Con. Children 6-12 must have Kids Day Ticket to attend NYCC on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Kids Day Tickets are only valid for children 6-12, only on Sunday, October 11, 2015 and while supplies last. Advanced registration and purchase of an adult Ticket is required. Be prepared to show proof of age onsite. Please note, NYCC recommends all children under 18 attend with an adult, and all children under 13 must have an adult with them while at the NYCC.

Give-a-ways galore is part of the price at New York Comic Con and you never know what to expect. Last year the American living in Italy, George Clooney, chose to make his first appearance to promote this year’s TOMORROWLAND at NYCC. Clooney made a surprise visit mere days after his wedding. Joining the TOMORROWLAND panel of director Brad Bird, producer Damon Lindelof and the movie’s stars Rafferty Cassidy, Britt Robertson and Hugh Laurie, Clooney quipped, “It is not lost on me that I am spending my honeymoon at Comic Con.” The panel’s moderator Chris Hardwick asked, “Was that a conversation with the wife? Were you like, ‘We’re going to Comic Con!’” “Yes, and she was confused…”[Laughs]. Of course the Internet blew up when we all the texts went viral.
