*Louis Farrakhan’s Justice…Or Else! rally will take place on October 10 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his Million Man March.

On Tuesday, Minister Farrakhan spoke at Philadelphia’s Tindley Temple United Methodist Church to mobilize support for the rally, and he announced that Philly native Will Smith and his wife, Jada, donated $150,000 to support the event.

A post on Farrakhan’s Facebook page read, “…the couple happily donated $150,000 to offset the cost of hosting the upcoming historic gathering!” The post also notes that Will attended the first Million Man March in 1995.

Even with the Smiths’ significant contribution, Vibe reports that the Justice…Or Else! march needs to raise nearly $2 million to effectively raise awareness. Farrakhan has called on other celebrities to donate and aid in the movement’s efforts.

For those traveling to Washington, D.C., the march will kick off at 10 a.m. on October 10 at the National Mall. If you want to contribute financially to the cause, click here.

Minister Farrakhan chatted with Roland Martin on TV One’s NewsOne Now about the Justice Or Else! rally. During their hour-long conversation, Farrakhan shared his views on the Black Lives Matter movement and young activists.

Of those who say “all lives matter,” Farrakhan said, “Black lives do matter, all life does matter, but if Black don’t matter, then why should your life matter, since all your lives came from the Black man and woman?”

“So I say to the sisters and brothers in Black Lives Matter, keep on pushing and we are with you, and don’t let anybody cause you to change your narrative,” he continued. “Black lives matter, justice or else.”

Farrakhan has also called for an economic boycott of Black Friday shopping in order to “redistribute the pain.”

We have to find a way to redistribute the pain,” Farrakhan said, citing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“He talked about going to businesses that benefited from Black dollars and he said, ‘We have to now withdraw our economic support, so that those who give us pain can receive some pain in return.”
