*The drama between the surviving members of TLC and their former manager, Perri “Pebbles” Reid, is apparently alive and well.
Referencing court documents, Bossip detailed testimony from Reid, who stated under oath that T-Boz often calls her groupmate Chilli a “whore” when she’s not a around.
The revelation came from a conversation the music exec and former singer had with T-Boz regarding the VH1 biopic, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.”
Asked when exactly she found out that the movie was being made, Reid said she couldn’t remember. Instead, she mentioned the conversation she had with T-Boz before seeing the “CrazySexyCool” movie. It must be noted that Reid put out a warning during the chat that her depiction in the film better be accurate, by her standards.
As the conversation with T-Boz progressed, Reid stated that, “She called Chilli a whore, that’s one thing.”
Explaining why T-Boz would put that label on Chilli, Reid said:
“I can’t stop someone from being a whore, that’s just who they are. I didn’t take that to — you have to understand the dynamic. We knew each other. I knew what she meant. She’s saying I can’t make this girl do anything right or wrong.”
Reid later summed up her thoughts on what T-Boz meant by calling Chilli a “whore,” by saying that its, “Exactly what the word means….”
