One priest in the Phillipines that apparently tried a new way to get his congregation’s attention — using a Hoverboard, is now looking for a new job.
My grandson got a Hoverboard for Christmas, so I know they are the rage this holiday season.
But they are not for everybody.
A 17-year-old doing wheelies on it in the park is one thing. But your rapidly balding Monsignor taking this on is quite another. Which is why Father Albert San Jose, who decided to close out the evening on a Hoverboard, rolling down the aisle of his parish as he sang, “May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You,” didn’t go over so well with the diocese who suspended him.
