*Usher will perform a free concert as part of events leading up to the Allstate Sugar Bowl next week in New Orleans.
The singer is set to host the Allstate Fan Fest, which takes over the Jax Brewery parking lot on Decatur Street on Wednesday, Dec. 30. The concert is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. and will also be live-streamed on Tidal.
NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports it’ll be the second time in a matter of weeks that Usher has made a public appearance in New Orleans. He was recently in the city to speak during Amnesty International USA’s one-day “Art For Rights” exhibit, where he talked about social activism.
Ursh kicks off the two-day Fan Fest leading up to the Sugar Bowl featuring Oklahoma State and Ole Miss. The two teams will meet inside the Superdome on Jan. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
