*Beyonce made a surprise appearance on Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle” Thursday night while her song “Run the World” was being lip synced by Channing Tatum.
The “Magic Mike” actor and his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, were the featured guests for the episode. Channing went all in for his performance, wearing the bra, skirt and the metallic armor worn by Bey in the song’s video.
Before Beyonce’s surprise, Tatum’s wife thought she was doing something by bringing out Paula Abdul for her performance of “Cold-Hearted.”
But when it was Channing’s turn, he rolled onto the stage atop a giant stone Pegasus and began lip syncing for his life – only to be interrupted by the real Bey.
Channing was just as shocked by her appearance as the audience, because (he admitted later) he hadn’t expected her to show up.
Jenna simply collapsed to the floor.
“I cannot believe that just happened!” Jenna exclaimed after the dance. “I’m freaking out.”
