Craig Robinson joins USA’s ‘Mr. Robot’ in Recurring Role

*Craig Robinson is the latest to join USA’s hacker drama “Mr. Robot” for season two.

“The Office” alum has booked a recurring role as Ray, a neighborhood local who reaches out to Elliot (Rami Malek) in his time of need, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Robinson joins recently announced cast additions Grace Gummer, rapper Joey Bada$$ and Chris Conroy for the forthcoming second season, which began production this week in New York City.

Fresh from its Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice award wins for best drama series, “Mr. Robot” is set to return for its sophomore season this summer. Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin and Martin Wallstrom also star in the Universal Cable Productions series.
