*We know Don Lemon, we’ve been there.
Trying to get Omarosa to answer a question directly is a challenge unlike any other.
So who could blame the CNN anchor for losing his cool Friday night after he tried to get the Donald Trump surrogate to simply respond to his question about the GOP presidential front-runner‘s attack on Heidi Cruz.
Lemon led the segment off by asking Omarosa about Trump’s retweet of the nasty insult on (Heidi) Cruz’s looks. Instead of responding directly to the question, Omarosa started to say, “I don’t think we should start there” and tried to go back to the Super PAC that ran the ad featuring a nude photo of Melania Trump. That’s when Lemon said, “I’m not gonna let you do that. Omarosa, stop!”
After she kept talking, Lemon lost patience and said, “Cut the mic, everybody. We’re not doing that. I want everyone on this panel to answer the question directly.”
Omarosa objected, and Lemon immediately cut to commercial literally a minute into the segment.

After the commercial was over (and we assume some rules of etiquette & news protocol between the news host and Omariosa) Lemon once again asked Omarosa about Trump’s nasty retweet. Omarosa did the Omarosa, so to speak, and switched to speaking about Brussels and complained that they should be talking about terrorism and not Twitter retweets.
But Lemon wasn’t having it and adroitly pointed out that, “We wouldn’t be talking about it if your candidate had not put it out there.”
AQbsurdly, tried to claim that no one covered Trump’s comments on Brussels before telling Lemon that Trump owes no apologies “for defending his wife” (leaving out the whole “insulting another man’s wife” part).
Meanwhile, Kellyanne Conway, who runs a pro-Cruz Super PAC, went at Omarosa over Trump’s serious problems with women.
Lemon once again tried to get Omarosa to understand how awful the retweet was, but her response and attitude was that it was no big deal.
