*Kanye West is asking a judge to erase his paparazzi beatdown conviction from his record, according to TMZ.

The rapper copped a plea in 2014 for attacking a pap the year before at LAX. He pled no contest to misdemeanor battery, received 24 months probation and was ordered to perform 250 hours of community service.

Over the last two years, West put in more than the required number of community service hours at L.A. Trade Tech’s fashion school, and stayed out of legal trouble for the required 24 months.

According to the plea deal, he is now eligible to have his record expunged.

According to TMZ, he’s already filed the legal papers to do so.

A judge has yet to rule.
