Kerry, Viola, Ellen and Shonda Endorse Hillary (WATCH)

*TV producer Shonda Rhimes as well as actresses Kerry Washington (“Scandal”), Viola Davis (“How to Get Away with Murder”) and Ellen Pompeo (“Grey’s Anatomy”) have all endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in a campaign video.

In the clip titled “Real Life,” Washington, Ellen Pompeo and Viola Davis share how their on screen characters reflect the characteristics of Hillary Clinton  (scroll down to watch).

“Every day I wake up and play a brilliant, complex, overqualified, get-it-done woman who obsessively fights for justice, who, cares who gives a voice to the voiceless, who gets knocked down and always gets back up,” the three state.

“Our characters are on television,” Washington says. “But the real world?”

“The real world has Hillary Clinton.”

If you’ve been “zoned in,” the endorsement isn’t a surprise as last month Hillary Clinton visited the set of “Scandal.”

Washington posted a photo of herself with Clinton with a the caption “#imwithher.” (see photo above.)

Keeping it in the family, the video was directed by actor Tony Goldwyn (“Scandal”) and aired Thursday night during the TGIT line-up.

Meanwhile, the NY Daily News points out that the ShondaLand cast members are the latest Hollywood figures to pick sides in the race for the White House.

Clinton will add the actresses to her star-studded stable of endorsements, including vocal support from Lena Dunham, Eva Longoria and Kim Kardashian.

Her rival Bernie Sanders’s celebrity followers include Susan Sarandon, Run the Jewel’s Killer Mike ans Sarah Silverman.

Donald Trump has received most of the report on the Republican side with endorsements from actor Jon Voight and Yankee great Paul O’Neill.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has campaigned with terminator-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, and controversial conservative “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson is supporting Sen. Ted Cruz.
