*Black women and Asian men find themselves in the same boat when it comes to online dating. The “least desirable” boat, according to studies that have been conducted on the subject.

So “The Daily Show” sent their African American female and Asian male correspondents (Jessica White and Ronny Chieng) to find out why the two groups are the biggest victims of “sexual racism.”

They spoke to OKCupid co-founder Christian Rudder, who compiled data on who users message, who they match with, who they respond to, etc — and found some interesting patterns. “There is kind of a systemic racial bias pretty much in every dating site I’ve ever looked at,” he said. “We found that 82 percent of non-black men have some bias against black women. … And Asian men get the fewest messages and the worst ratings of any group of guys.”

The correspondents also interviewed a group of black women and Asian men (a.k.a. “disadvantaged daters”) to hear about their online dating stories. One black woman said, “One of the first Tinder messages I ever got was, ‘Did you know that 90 percent of black women have herpes?'”
