Malcolm Jamal Warner Nabs Recurring Role on USA’s ‘Suits’

*Malcolm Jamal Warner has joined the upcoming sixth season of USA Network’s drama series “Suits.”

Set in the fast-paced world of a top Manhattan corporate law firm, season 6 picks up with Mike (Patrick J. Adams) entering Danbury Prison after accepting a plea deal for conspiracy to commit fraud.

According to Deadline.com, the actor – last seen as Al Cowlings in FX’s “American Crime: The People vs. OJ Simpson” – will play Danbury Prison’s Counselor who is tasked with helping inmates survive their time in prison, and putting them on the path to rehabilitation – which in Mike’s case, will require admitting that he’s spent a lifetime cutting corners.

Eric Palladino also joins the series as recurring character Kevin Miller, Mike’s fellow inmate who he is unsure of whether or not he can be trusted, but as they come to depend on one another, Kevin may become the closest thing Mike has to a friend on the inside.

Paul Schulze joins the cast as Frank Gallo, a fellow inmate hardened by his own time served, Gallo is the first to introduce Mike to life in Danbury Prison.
