*Just when you think things are well with Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey, along comes a new piece of drama for the couple.
According to Rolling Out, Bailey and Thomas are being sued over an altercation Thomas was involved in earlier this year. In his lawsuit, a man named Brandon Link references an incident that occurred at Thomas’ Sports One bar in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Link claims he was speaking with Thomas about renting space in the bar. The deal fell through , Link states. From there, the situation got physical when Thomas grabbed Link and threw him across the room As a result, Link says he hit his head on the edge of a table and got a concussion.
Thomas argues that Link was drunk and belligerent and had to be escorted away from the bar by security. Thomas adds that when Link was outside, he slipped on the icy ground and hit his head.
Rolling Out notes that although neither Link nor Thomas was arrested, the case ended up in court with reports Link is seeking money from Thomas and Bailey.
According to media sources, Link filed a lawsuit against Thomas and Bailey, claiming that Thomas and/or his Sports One staffers tampered with the surveillance camera footage to make it seem as though Thomas is innocent.
Link goes on to claim that Thomas exposed his alleged cheating in the video when he allegedly yelled that he was “working on some p—-” when Link tried to discuss business with him. Link also maintains that Thomas said “Do you think I give a f— about your money!!”
Despite Link’s claims, the D.A. in the case disputed Link’s allegation that the tape was altered in any way after reviewing the tape himself. With that, the D.A. ultimately dismissed Link’s criminal case.
Nevertheless, Link is continuing to move forward with his lawsuit. Link is demanding that Bailey and Thomas pay him $225,000 in damages, which includes an alleged concussion.
