*Last month Kim Fields announced she will not return to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The former child star didn’t make waves in this season – in terms of delivering high drama, which the show relies on. But she was a trigger for tension among the ladies, who felt she was “condescending,” and “not a good fit” for Bravo’s hit reality series.
Fields co-stars also felt she may have been in a deceptive marriage of sorts, as her hubby’s sexuality was a constant source of scrutiny.
Kim called in to The Rickey Smiley Show to promote her stint on “Dancing with the Stars,” when asked if she plans to return to ‘RHOA,’ she said, “Feels more like Brett Farve and the Jets. I’m done. Think about, too, at the beginning of the season, what did my mama say? ’Get in and get out.’ Listen to your mama.”
“It was for the experience,” continued Kim. “It was to be able to do a genre that I had been asked to before – and finding a way to do it that made sense for my team and I and the family. Overall, it was a really great experience.”
Kim shared that she felt especially “beautiful, supported, and confident” at the reunion, adding, “So grateful my glam squad did such a wonderful job – thank you Victoria, Erica, Jaz, and Kevin! The support my family and I have received all season from the fans on social media, in person, etc. has just been amazing. In addition, our personal ‘village’ has been fantastic holding us up with love, light, and laughs. That beauty and support reinforced a marvelous confidence. Sasha Farber recently told me, ‘Confidence breeds power; power is contagious.’ I love that; I felt that.”

As it was previously reported, the feud between Kim and her ‘RHOA’ co-star Kenya Moore lasted all season, with both ladies taking to social media to blast the other. Much of part one of the reunion dealt with the drama between Kim and Kenya. However, there was a point in the show when the two women attempted to get to the source of their tension and squash it.
A newly released, never-before-seen clip of Kenya and Kim shows them try to get their friendship back on track early on in the season. In the clip, Kenya calmly tries to get to the bottom of Kim’s ‘condescending’ attitude. Co-star Sheree Whitfield chimes in and agrees with Kenya’s assertions based on some of Kim’s comments.
