*“Saturday Night Live” is coming out swinging for its first show after the presidential election.

NBC announced that Dave Chappelle will make his hosting debut on the Nov. 12 episode, with A Tribe Called Quest booked as the musical guest.

The notoriously reclusive comedian, best known for his acclaimed Comedy Central series “Chappelle’s Show” in addition to his stand-up, has rarely made public appearances in the years since he abruptly left the series in 2005.

In recent years, he has returned to stand-up, most famously performing 10 nights at Radio City Music Hall in June 2014, and even appeared in Spike Lee’s 2015 film “Chi-Raq.”

A Tribe Called Quest will be promoting the release of their upcoming album following an 18-year hiatus and the death of group member Phife Dawg.

SNL will next welcome Benedict Cumberbatch for his hosting debut on Nov. 5.
