Sasha Obama Supports Clinton – Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Needs A Home

Sasha Obama

*15-year-old Sasha Obama was photographed picking up lunch at Z-Burger in Washington, DC on Friday. The chain was offering free burgers to anyone who used the password ‘I’m with Her’ at lunch on Friday. In photos at the restaurant, Sasha is seen rocking a Biggie Small t-shirt while picking up her food with a male classmate.

Both President Obama and first lady Michelle have been out on the campaign trail helping Hillary Clinton in her bid for the White House. Z Burger in D.C. ran a campaign Friday where they gave free burgers to Hillary supporters.

It is possible that Sasha’s parents intended for the public to see her helping to inspire voters so close to election day.

Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame

Urban music legends and Motown stars will be among those attending a rally urging the public’s support for locating the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame in Detroit. According to a press release, the Rhythm & Blues Music Foundation is looking for a home for such artists as The Temptations, The O’Jays, Aretha Franklin, Jackie Wilson, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Elvis Presley – just to name a few.

Recent media reports have discussed locating the museum in Philadelphia, Chicago and other cities, and time may be running out for Detroit to secure the deal. The  attraction could draw more than 250,000 visitors a year.

The Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame was founded in 2010 by long time music lover and business entrepreneur LaMont Robinson. Since 2013, the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame has inducted over 135 rhythm and blues legends at their annual star-studded ceremonies.

Members of the media and the general public are invited to attend the rally, set for 10 a.m. Dec. 7 at Bert’s Entertainment Complex, 2727 Russell St., in Eastern Market, Detroit.
