*Mel B was hit with a defamation lawsuit filed by her former nanny, whom she claimed slept with her husband and at one point carried his child before having an abortion.
According to TMZ, Lorraine Gilles says Mel B’s allegations are all lies, including the former Spice Girl’s accusation that her husband Stephen Belafonte and Gilles stole money from her and that Gilles has control over Mel’s sex tapes and might release them.
Gilles reportedly included a number of exhibits and pictures in the lawsuit, which she believes will prove Mel B’s allegations are lies.
TMZ notes… “Generally a person can’t be sued for what they say in court papers, but there’s an exception in California family law cases when someone makes a claim against 3rd parties who are not involved in the litigation. Lorraine Gilles is a 3rd party in the divorce case.”
