*DMX has been granted a temporary pass from rehab in order to fulfill his commitment to perform at a show in Albany, NY, according to TMZ.
A New York judge allowed the rapper to travel to the show, accompanied by a drug counselor. After the gig tonight (Dec. 8), he is to report back to the rehab facility on Saturday.
X’s attorney Murray Richman says DMX pays for all of the rehab counselor’s food and expenses while they’re traveling together.
Richman also says DMX gets drug tested while on tour, and sources say the rapper’s been granted release about 10 times during his rehab program and hasn’t failed a test.
DMX was also allowed to host a Thursday night gig in NYC. (See below.)
