Jada Pinkett Smith Tweets Unhappiness That Tiffany Haddish was Snubbed by Golden Globes

*Jada Pinkett Smith is not pleased at all with the Golden Globes. Well, she might have to stand in line behind a lot of folks with the same problem.

In any event, the issue here is that her bud, Tiffany Haddish, was snubbed by the organization for her breakout role in “Girls Trip” and took to Twitter to let the world know it, without gong off.

The good news for Tiffany is that the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ award from the New York Film Critic’s Circle recently, which usually serves as an indicator of what to expect once awards season ramps up.

And on top of that, it was just earlier today that we reported that she and actor Laurence Fishburne have been awarded best supporting actor nods by the African American Film Critic Association (AAFCA).

“The films released in 2017 captured a plethora of lifestyles, experiences and emotions that allowed our members to engage with a different range of storylines from previous years,” says AAFCA co-founder and president, Gil Robertson. “The success of GIRLS TRIP, the first R-rated film starring an all Black female cast to surpass $100 million, and GET OUT, Jordan Peele’s directorial debut which surpassed $250 million worldwide, prove just how viable Black films are across the board.

So as you can see, Tiffany isn’t being completely overlooked this award season.
