*Former President Bill Clinton was being chauffeured around Manhattan recently when a man recognized him through his window and began to record their interaction.
“You the best president man, Trump gotta go. Trump gotta go, Bill Clinton,” yelled the man behind the camera. Clinton responded by putting his thumb up in agreement.
The man pressed on with, “Alright, have a nice day. Tell Hillary I said “What Up” Bill Clinton. Alright. Best president alive man. How’s Monica?” he asked, to which Clinton stopped interacting with him and put up his window.
The Clinton–Lewinsky scandal involved 49-year-old Clinton and 22-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Their sexual relationship took place between 1995 and 1997 and came to light in 1998. Clinton addressed the scandal in a televised speech which ended with the statement that he “did he “did not have sexual relations” with Lewinsky.
Further investigation led to charges of perjury and to the impeachment of President Clinton in 1998 by the U.S. House of Representatives. He was subsequently acquitted on all impeachment charges of perjury and obstruction of justice in a 21-day Senate trial.
Apparently, Clinton wanted to enjoy his drive through NYC without being reminded of his adulterous acts two decades ago. As he rolls up the car window, the man behind the camera laughs.
