Azealia Banks Inks $1M Record Deal with eOne Entertainment

*Controversial rapper Azealia Banks announced Wednesday on social media that she has inked a $1 million deal with Entertainment One.

“I’m now officially signed to E1 Entertainment!! I HAVE A HOME AGAIN… I’m crying,” she wrote on Instagram. “The Industry left me out on the street like a stray dog and now I have shelter again. This is really making me cry I’m so happy and grateful and thankful for all of this and I promise I’m going to make the KUNTS so proud.”

She followed up with another emotional post saying she grew up in a “very broken” household.

“When I was a little girl all I wanted was to be loved,” she explained. “I’ve been all around the world but swear I’ve never felt more understood, cared for and welcome than I have with you all. You are the loves of my life. I don’t need anyone else…”

Banks, 26, who’s known for her social media feuds, has bounced around a number of labels in her career, including Universal Music, RZA and XL Recordings, per the Daily Mail.

Not to mention her legal woes…

In early March 2017, a warrant was issued in her boob-biting drama. She eventually struck a plea deal. Then, City National Bank filed a lawsuit against her, claiming she owed the bank $137,000 in credit card debt.

Then there was that unusual drama with Russell Crowe. The official story was that he popped off and called her the N-word after she got outta pocket at a party he was hosting. Meanwhile, others whisper that the unofficial story is he hired Azealia for a night of pleasure but became enraged when she refused to participate in some of the sick sexual acts that he wanted her to perform.

You may recall how in December Wendy Williams implied that Banks has sex for money.

In related news, the Harlem MC says she wants to collaborate with Nicki Minaj on “Anna Wintour,” the first single from her upcoming project “Fantasea II: The Second Wave”.

Taking to Instagram, Banks also revealed that she wants Mel B on the track.

“I would absolutely LOVE to have Mel B from the spice girls and Nicki Minaj on this,” she wrote. “KUNTS please put out more manifesting energy !!”

“Anna Wintour” was named after the fashion icon and Vogue editor-in-chief, but Banks hit up Instagram to explain: “This song was inspired by a remix of ice princess by @juniorsanchezofficial , I took the glitches melody he put on it and wrote lyrics to it. I referenced a lot of Stacie Orrico for this song . I wanted to write a song that could double as a praise to God. It’s a song about learning to love, learning to accept love and learning how to love yourself. ❤️ I would absolutely LOVE to have Mel B from the spice girls and Nicki Minaj on this !! KUNTS please put out more manifesting energy !!”
