*Cardi B alluded to her past gang affiliation on Instagram and is now receiving death threats from the Crips.
A year ago, Cardi said she once “put in work” to become a member of the Bloods. On Feb. 5, the rapper shared a photo of herself in a furry blue coat. She captioned the pic: “I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin.”
Her use of “flue” is what riled the Crips.
Their rival, the red-waving Bloods, use “flue” in place of “blue” as a sign of disrespect to the Crips and their gang color. Also, “blue” has been banned from the Bloods’ vocabulary.
After spotting her “Flue” comment, the Crips flew into her comment section with death threats. Cardi eventually took down the caption and comment option on the photo, but TMZ published several of the warnings.
Some gang members suggested she might not want to make her scheduled visit to Los Angeles this month for the NBA All Star Game.
One comment said, “@iamcardib this will not be accepted #DONTCOMETOLA.”
Another comment — “Now why you go and do this f**k s**t Cardi. This is literally WestCoast Suicide …. bitch betta get #neutral.”
