*For whatever reason, old school rapper Foxy Brown has decided to enter the #MeToo fray and put in her two cents in favor of music mogul Russell Simmons, who’s been accused of a number of sexual assault allegations.
To distribute her message to the people, Miss Brown headed to Instagram to tell her story of support:
“Attesting to the character of the man who, as a teenager saved my life. Salaciousness and scandal garners headlines. Cowards cower,” Foxy noted in her post. “But as inarguably, Russell’s biggest Def Jam female protege, (who birthed an era of overtly evocative stars), the man I’ve known and loved, was nothing more than the respectful, respected, gentleman and GODFATHER OF HIP-HOP we’ve all adored. In staunch support, Praying for you Russ!”

*Out of the blue, Foxy Brown has revealed that she’s the new mom of a baby girl!
The 38-year-old rapper, who celebrated her birthday on Sept. 6, hit Instagram with a picture of a little grey-eyed bundle of preciousness. She captioned the pic: “My Gorgeous, Greatest, Gray Eyed BIRTHDAY GIFT. GLORY TO GOD My GREATEST Hit. Obsessively IN LOVE. Forever Your Hero, MOMMY?”
The rapper chose Lauryn Hill’s 1998 ode to her own newborn, “To Zion,” for the background music.
