*Quincy Jones apparently said all he had to say in the now infamous interview with Vulture – and thankfully it was enough to keep folks talking for the foreseeable future.

At a celeb-packed 50th anniversary celebration of LA’s Mr. Chow restaurant on Friday, press were reportedly told beforehand not to approach Jones, 84, for any interviews — and if they did, he’d take off, Page Six reports.

The order came after the music mogul gave two recent earth-shattering interviews in which he claimed Michael Jackson ripped off the “Billie Jean” bass line from Donna Summer, and that Richard Pryor slept with Marlon Brando.

Via Page Six:

The party was hosted by famed restaurateur and artist Michael Chow to celebrate his eponymous eatery with guests including Al Pacino, Anjelica Huston, Stevie Wonder, Mickey Rourke, Chris Rock, Ricky Martin, Billy Idol, Heidi Klum, as well as artists Alex Israel, Paul McCarthy and Sterling Ruby. But Jones was apparently off-limits — although he was photographed appearing in good spirits, giving a thumbs-up and smiling in a stylish black blazer and colorful scarf.

A rep for Jones said their team did not issue the edict. A rep for the event did not get back to us.
