Black Panther” fans want more of the fictional land of Wakanda. One superfan, Eric Hamilton, has launched a petition lobbying Marvel for a TV spinoff.

Posted on Change.org, the petition calls for a TV show chronicling the beginnings of Wakanda, the fictional African nation ruled by King T’Challa:

Telling the back story of Wakanda would be a game changer. How did Wakanda become the most technologically advanced country on Earth? From the technology to the artistry coupled with the rich African traditions, the fans demand more.

Eric Hamilton began the petition last week, Complex reports, requesting a series from Marvel and Netflix that will explore the Vibranium-rich country.

“The Black Panther fan base would love to see a Wakanda Series on Netflix. This series would expand the depth of the Marvel universe and we feel Marvel/Disney would enjoy creating and adapting these stories as much as we would love watching them,” the petition reads.

The petition also points out Netflix’s successful partnership with Marvel, including series like Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and The Punisher.

Worldwide, “Black Panther” made $404 million in its opening weekend, which Vanity Fair reports is the highest opening of all time for a film released in February. Wakanda is a hidden mountain kingdom in the movie that was the only country in Africa not to be colonized.
