Iyanla Vanzant Talks Upcoming Season of ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’ (EUR Exclusive!)

*This past Tuesday (02-27-18), EURweb associate Rocky Harris sat down with Iyanla Vazant at the OWN Studios in Hollywood. The afternoon was filled with hints about season five of “Iyanla Fix My Life,” the issues she faces with her new guests and what life is like outside of the stage.

This season Iyanla will be working with a wide range of guests including: former music producer Mickey “Memphitz” Wright, Love and Hip Hop reality star Hazel E, Trina Braxton and the Mitchell Brothers.

Each guest has a unique and compelling story. Memphitz was once a mogul in the music industry but became demonized after false accusations of abuse arose. Hazel E was Love and Hip Hop royalty before she destroyed her own name after saying hateful remarks on social media about homosexuals and darker skinned Black people.

Braxton is trying to work out her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband. The Mitchell Brothers were abandoned as children, lived a heartbreaking, rough life and are dealing with dysfunction deep within their family.

While Vazant definitely has her plate full, she still finds time for herself outside of saving lives.

“I do normal things. I like anybody else have hot flashes when I pass certain shoe stores – – You know I do my own laundry, I do my own dishes. I don’t have servants or housekeepers or anything like that,” said the host.

Along with those normal things she shared that a part of her normality is being a minister 24/7 – and she stands by that sentiment first and foremost.

Season 5 of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” hits TV screens everywhere on Saturday, March 3 at 9/8c, only on OWN.
