Jay King’s ‘The Creative Exchange’ Music Summit Returns to Sacramento March 23 & 24

*The 2018 Creative Exchange Music Summit is being heralded as the biggest music conference In Northern California. Taking place in Sacramento, Ca – this year’s summit theme is “Spreading Your Art Around The World”

Industry professionals from literally all over the world will converge on the Greater Sacramento Urban League Building (located at 3725 Marysville Blvd) March 23rd & 24th, 2018, for two days of nonstop symposiums and panel discussions ranging in subjects from “Creative Ways to Raise Money For Your Project” To “Your Network Is Your Net-Worth.”

The Creative Exchange boasts a variety of subjects and fields ranging from music and film making to the business of comedy. With over 45 speakers and panelists who are current day experts and professionals in their perspective fields to share their expertise, knowledge, information and experiences in a very competitive and tricky business, the creative exchange music summit is a must attend for anyone even remotely interested in the entertainment business.

Created and produced by Sacramento’s own music impresario “Jay King” who forged his name in the music business first as a producer/indie label head (Jay Records) producing and independently distributing, arguably one of the most important independent records in the modern record business (Rumors by the Timex Social Club – 1986)

He then followed up with a remake of the Bill Withers Classic “Lean On Me” (1987) with his group Club Nouveau who subsequently had a #1 Billboard POP Hit and won a Grammy for R&B Record of the Year. Currently, Jay King continues to write, produce and even consult others in the music industry, keeping up with marketing/production trends and innovative methods.

“I Love Sacramento, we have a rich artist driven community and I mean all of the arts from music, to film, spoken word, visual in all forms and of course the theatre and WE, are the state’s capitol, why shouldn’t we have the biggest music conference in Northern California here???”
