*After being at war over who gets custody of their son, Nas and Kelis have come together and reached a settlement on the issue of custody.

The world renown rapper and the singer/chef have agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of 8-year-old Knight.

We hear that the agreement is very specific, breaking down who gets the child during various holidays. For example, Nas gets Knight on Father’s Day and Kelis gets the child on Mother’s Day.

Like said, it’s specific. For instance, they’ll alternate Knight’s birthdays … he gets the even years and she gets the odd years.

If you’ve been observing, these two, they’ve been going at each other over child support for a long time now. BTW, Kelis gets $8k a month in child support, but is looking for more, reports TMZ. She claims Nas is doing so much better now financially he should up the ante.

toni braxton - sex & cigarettes album cover

*On the verge of releasing her new studio album, Sex & Cigarettes, sultry singer Toni Braxton is stirring up more anticipation by releasing the new single and title track, “Sex & Cigarettes.” On the song, Braxton sings about being in a relationship where you can’t trust your other half.

Check out a taste of the lyrics:

You make me crazy, crazy / I swear you act like you hate me, hate me / How can you tell me “I love you” / Then do the things you do?” “At least try to lie to me, lie to me
/ Instead, you come straight to our bed / Smelling like sex and cigarettes.”

The project marks Braxton’s 25th year in music and follows her 2014 outing with Babyface, Love, Marriage & Divorce. Also featuring the singles “Deadwood” and “Long As I Live,” Sex & Cigarettes includes 8-songs and only one feature from pop powerhouse Colbie Caillat (‘My Heart’), according to SingersRoom.

“‘Sex & Cigarettes’ is more about me feeling sexy, independent, and expressing my feelings. I think for a long time I felt I had to make certain records, but now I want to just be free,” she told Essense in a recent interview. “I don’t want to be censored, I just want to focus on being an artist and creating good quality music that people can relate to.”

Toni Braxton will support the Sex & Cigarette project with a North American Tour this spring (Dates and ticket info to be announced soon).
