*NBC and Questlove are looking to have a racial discrimination lawsuit against them thrown out of court because, they claim, the matter should not be settled in a formal legal setting.
Two former employees of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” claim they were fired at the behest of Questlove after they reported receiving a racist test message (that they never responded to), per The Blast.
The two men allege that after they made their supervisor aware of the offensive text, a seven-week investigation was launched which resulted in Questlove pressuring “NBC to fire all of the Caucasian employees involved in the incident.”
The network and The Roots drummer believe the two men had an obligation to take the matter to arbitration, rather than file a lawsuit. In their response to the claims, they state: “At no time prior to commencing this action did Plaintiffs or the Union file a grievance relating to these allegations or submit any claim to Solutions” (that is the name of NBC’s alternative dispute resolution procedure).
NBC and Questlove are looking to have the case kicked back to arbitration or dismissed entirely.
A judge has yet to rule.

Glen “Big Baby” Davis has responded to allegations of him selling drugs, and he seems completely unbothered.
The former NBA player was arrested in a Maryland Hampton Inn in February after the hotel owner smelled marijuana coming from his room. As it turns out, according to WMAT-TV in Baltimore, Lieutenant William Reiber found 126 grams of weed and a briefcase full of cash.
Despite what the official report states, Glen hit up Instagram to put the drug rumors to rest. The former Celtic posted up in a private jet with another case of money and his championship ring while dining on Popeyes chicken.
He attempted to convince his fans and followers not to believe the hype.
“Don’t believe all that s**t on the Internet. I will have my day in court. They just mad cause a black man got money, man. Just tryina keep a black man down, man. Shoutout Ralo and them peoples gettin money! My s**t legal, man. A lot of jump shots! A whole lotta jump shots!”
His day in court has yet to be announced.
