*It was a long day of jury deliberations during the Bill Cosby sexual-assault trial at the Montgomery County Courthouse near Philadelphia yesterday, but on Thursday (April 26), the 80-year-old disgraced comedian was found GUILTY on all three counts of sexual assault.

Cosby was charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault, and this conviction could put him in prison for up to 10 years on each count. He would likely serve them concurrently.

Prosecutors used Cosby’s past admissions about drugs and sex as well as the testimony of five other women to help support accuser Andrea Constand’s allegations.

Constand and her mother, Gianna, both testified during the retrial. According to Deadline, Janice Dickinson, Heidi Thomas, Janice Baker-Kinney, Lise-Lotte Lublin and Chelan Lasha provided testimony that they were drugged by Cosby with wine or pills, matching Constand’s story.

As noted by the Chicago Sun-Times, this is the only criminal case to arise from allegations from more than 60 women.

A jury of seven men and five women returned a guilty verdict this afternoon for Cosby’s January 2004 sexual assault of Constand.

Cosby had originally escaped guilt during last year’s trial after the jury was deadlocked over five days of deliberations.

For the retrial, the jurors spent nearly 15 hours over two days deciding the verdict.

Cosby shouted at the prosecutor in court when his bail was discussed, observers said.

Although dozens of women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct, only Constand’s allegations resulted in criminal charges.
