*Chief Keef is breathing easier today after prosecutors decided not to move forward with charges that he broke into the home of his former music producer while toting an AK-47.

The rapper and other suspects were allegedly present during the 2017 incident, but prosecutors have dropped the case due to significant issues with key witnesses, reports TMZ.

Chief’s ex-producer, Ramsay Tha Great — who publicly accused Chief of the crime (see video at right) — has since been convicted on charges of pimping and human trafficking. He’s currently serving 10 years in prison.

Additionally, a second key witness, who was also apparently robbed, is currently nowhere to be found after cooperating with cops at first, according to TMZ.

Considering the circumstances, the District Attorney’s Office decided there simply wasn’t enough evidence to move forward.
