*A production company is suing LeBron James for jacking its idea about a barbershop-themed television series.
In a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports, Adventure Enterprises claims it pitched a show to the NBA superstar called “Shop Talk” that would feature celebrities getting a haircut while sharing the secret to their personal success.
The company claims it had numerous talks about the idea with LeBron’s company, Uninterrupted, over a period of 2 years and figuring out a strategy for pitching it to various networks.
According to the lawsuit, LeBron went and cut Adventure Enterprises out of the picture and created a ripoff show called “The Shop,” featuring LeBron in a barbershop with his contemporaries, “while engaging in an intimate conversation describing cultural experiences.”
The show aired as a webisode.

Adventure Enterprises claims when it confronted LeBron’s people, they received an apology and assurances it was a one-off and wouldn’t happen again.
But it did happen again… another segment aired on ESPN.
According to the New York Post, the debut episode of “The Shop,” ran during the 2017 NBA Finals and featured James, Warriors forward Draymond Green, rapper 2 Chainz and retired Knicks star Charles Oakley. A second episode aired in March, and filming for a third episode has been completed, ESPN reports.
Adventure Enterprises now wants a judge to intervene and prohibit LeBron and his company from producing any more episodes. They are also seeking monetary damages.
The company is also suing LeBron’s business partner, Maverick Carter.
A source close to LeBron and Maverick tells TMZ the lawsuit is “totally frivolous and publicity seeking.”
