*Singer Frank Ocean is facing a lawsuit from a producer over royalties for his “Blonde” album.

The singer, real name Christopher Breaux, sued Om’Mas Keith earlier this year, claiming he hired him to produce master recordings for the album. Keith reportedly went on to register 11 of the tracks with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), alleging he co-wrote them, and Ocean filed the lawsuit to make sure his former producer didn’t receive credits for writing the tunes.

The 30-year-old also claimed he had already paid Keith a flat fee, insisting he didn’t compose the music, so he is not entitled to royalties or credits.

However, according to The Blast, Keith is denying the claims and is now countersuing, alleging he co-produced and co-wrote many of the album’s songs. He also alleges the flat fee agreement was for Ocean’s previous album, “Channel Orange,” and he did not give permission for the new tracks to be released.

He is requesting Ocean’s lawsuit be thrown out and is seeking unspecified damages. He is also demanding a court order, which will name him the co-author of the songs.
