*Meek Mill is stuck with Judge Genece Brinkley after Pennsylvania’s highest court ruled against her removal from his long-running criminal case. However, one justice says the rapper can raise the issue again after a hearing next week, according to the AP.

Three judges denied Mill’s request Tuesday (June 12) to replace Philadelphia’s Judge Brinkley, and three supported it. The rapper’s lawyers have been leveling harsh criticism at Brinkley for months.

Brinkley sentenced Mill in November to an excessive 2 to 4 years behind bars for violating probation. The artist spent five months in jail before the state Supreme Court ordered his release.

Brinkley’s lawyer, however, says she’s been fair. Justice David Wecht says Mill can raise the matter anew after Monday’s (June 18) hearing before Brinkley. His lawyers are seeking a new trial.

Mills continues the fight to get his 2008 convictions on drug and gun charges thrown out.
