*Sade is reportedly in the studio preparing for the release of her first new album since 2010’s “Soldier of Love.”

Band member and songwriter Stuart Matthewman says he and lead singer Sade Adu have “a bunch of songs” in the works.

“We’re working on a new album… She’s not interested in the fame or any of that stuff,” he told Rated R&B magazine. “She likes to put out art. So when it’s ready, it will come out.”

He added: “The record company knows there’s no point in nagging us or giving us deadlines. It doesn’t really help the process.”

Sade’s first new track since the record was “Flower of the Universe” for the “A Wrinkle in Time” soundtrack in March.
