*As expected, there is reportedly a massive effort underway to send Aretha Franklin home in grand style.

According to TMZ, her memorial will be a four-day event, where her body will lie in state for two days at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and her funeral for close friends and family to be held at Greater Grace Temple.

Family sources tell the site that the viewing will be an open casket. And, of course, there will be lots of singing.

Sources close to the family say the Charles H. Wright museum was chosen to accommodate the mass of humanity expected to show up. Franklin was also a frequent visitor.

The museum was also the site of Rosa Parks’ viewing in 2005.

As of now, no date’s been set.

Franklin died Thursday at her home in Detroit surrounded by friends and family after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 76.
