LeBron James Jr. will Play for Crossroads in L.A. – Shareef O’Neal to Enroll at UCLA

*For weeks now, there’s been much speculation about where LeBron James Jr. will attend school and now it seems he has finally made his long-awaited high school decision.

Bronny James is expected to enroll at Crossroads School in Santa Monica as an incoming 8th-grader. Under CIF rules, he cannot play varsity.

According to CBS Sports:

At Crossroads, James Jr. joins a school that has produced a number of notable alumni. UCLA signee Shareef O’Neal, the son of Hall of Fame big man Shaquille O’Neal, played last season at Crossroads where he averaged 27 points per game as a senior. Baron Davis also attended the prominent school. Other famous alums include actors Jack Black, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Maya Rudolph and Jonah Hill.

Meanwhile, his superstar NBA father says he regrets naming his 14-year-old son LeBron James Jr. — because it puts too much pressure on the kid, TMZ reports.

In related news, the UCLA Bruins announced Monday that Shareef O’Neal (Shaq’s son) will enroll at the university for summer school later this month and join the basketball program as a freshman in September, according to CBS Sports.

The news outlet reported that O’Neal ” is a member of UCLA’s sixth-ranked 2018 recruiting class that includes four players who are rated as four-star recruits, O’Neal among them, as well as five-star big man Moses Brown.”
