Snoop Dogg To Publish First Cookbook This Fall

*Snoop Dogg is taking a page out of his homegirl Martha Stewart’s playbook.

This fall, the rapper will release his first cookbook, titled “From Crook to Cook,” featuring
“50 recipes straight from his own collection … [including] OG staples like Baked Mac & Cheese and Fried Bologna Sandwiches with Chips, and new takes on classic weeknight faves like Soft Flour Tacos and Easy Orange Chicken,” according to publisher Chronicle Books’ website.

Many of these concoctions were made by Snoop and guests on his Emmy-nominated VH1 series “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party.”

The Guardian points out that despite the rapper’s much-publicized love of all things weed-related, all the featured recipes are “cannabis-free.”

“From Crook to Cook” will be published on Oct. 23.

In other Snoop news, the LBC rapper is taking his contractors to court for allegedly screwing up his some remodeling work on his Diamond Bar mansion.

According to The Blast, Snoops claims various agreements were entered into and all obligations were fulfilled on his end. However, he alleges that contractors failed to perform all work as promised, failed to pay subcontractors and failed to satisfy regulatory requirements.

Mr. Dogg wants no less than $500k in damages.

Snoop’s lawsuit is actually a counter-claim to another lawsuit, in which he was sued along with the companies he is now suing.

247HipHopNews reports that Snoop, as well as the contractors, were accused of not paying a $12,385.90 bill from landscaping company PDQ Enterprises. The company is seeking to place a lien on Snoop’s home. They want it foreclosed with the profits used to pay them off.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg wants the original lawsuit dismissed as part of his counterclaim. The case is ongoing.
