*Los Angeles, CA – When the spotlight is on R&B icon, Bobby Brown, celebrities from far and wide come out to support. Paramount Studios hosted the extravagant red carpet and screening soiree for BET’s two-night “The Bobby Brown Story,” which stars Woody McClain who plays Bobby Brown and Gabrielle Dennis who portrays the late R&B legend Whitney Houston.
Cast members T.K. Carter, Lance Gross and Yvonne Senat Jones, playing the role of Whitney Houston’s best friend, Robyn Crawford, and many more graced the red carpet to chat about their experiences of shooting this much anticipated film.
The excitement turned up a few notches as Bobby himself, along with fellow group members, Bell Biv DeVoe, appeared at the event to show their support and pride in their life-long friend and brother.
Attendees, media and fans of Bobby Brown had an opportunity to view part one of the screening. There were several moments of gasping, laughing, and whispering amongst each other as the night continued clearly unveiling moments of Bobby Brown’s life that were genuinely unknown to the public. The audience sang along and reminisced to many of the hits in the film that Bobby is known for.
BET’s “The Bobby Brown Story” premiered last night (September 4) and concludes tonight (September 5) at 9/8c.
