*If you heard about Kanye West‘s antics on last night’s Saturday Night Live” you probably aren’t too surprised. If you haven’t heard, the man who supposedly changed his name to “Ye,” turned “SNL’s” goodnights segment (at the end of the show) into an opportunity to rant about his beliefs and Trump.
First, he was on “SNL” to replace Ariana Grande who cancelled and secondly, to promote his new album, “Yandhi.”
On the show, for his performances, he dressed up in a Perrier bottle to perform a very censored version of “I Love It” with Lil Pump and then did “We Got Love” with Teyana Taylor.
But it was at the end of the show that the rant began on such things as being laughed at and bullied for wearing his “Make America Great Again” hat (which he wore while on the show). He referred to the hat as his “Superman cape” and urged his fans to “follow their heart and not their mind.”

West claimed he was pressured not to come on stage wearing what is now his signature “Make America Great Again” hat.
He complained the liberal news media along with others were painting a one-sided picture of the political and social landscape in America. Kanye vowed no one would tell him what he could say or think.
He mocked those who said he was in a “sunken place,” and then broke into song.
Not all of Kanye’s speech made it to air. Later (and captured on Chris Rock’s Instagram Story, of all places … and seemed to whisper at one point, “My God.”) he continued to speak and tried to defend why he supports Donald Trump even though people call him a racist.
“Well, uh, if I was concerned about racism, I would have moved out of America a long time ago.”
“But this man is a builder,” West said of Trump. “And when I said I’m running in 2020, all my smart friends talked so much s— about me. And when I saw that man win, I said, ‘See, I told you. I could have been there.’”
In response, an audience member yelled, “F— Trump.” West added, “Now you got a situation where we need to have a dialogue and not a diatribe because if you want something to change, it’s not going to change by saying, ‘F— that person.’ Try love. Try love. Try love. Try love.”
While “Ye” (or whatever his name is now) may have pissed off a bunch of folks with his screed, the orange a-hole in the White House loved it. President Trump tweeted Sunday that he no longer watches SNL, and called it a political ad for Dems. He then shouted out Kanye saying … “Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told “no”), was great. He’s leading the charge!”

TMZ caught up to West and Kim K after “SNL,” but they had nothing to say. He also wouldn’t say why his name is now officially “Ye.”
