*Pharrell Williams has reportedly sent Donald Trump a cease-and-desist letter after 45’s campaign played the hit song “Happy” during a rally that went down hours after a madman opened fire at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.

“On the day of the mass murder of 11 human beings at the hands of a deranged ‘nationalist,’ you played his song ‘Happy’ to a crowd at a political event in Indiana,” Williams’ attorney wrote in a letter obtained by the Hollywood Reporter.

“There was nothing ‘happy’ about the tragedy inflicted upon our country on Saturday and no permission was granted for your use of this song for this purpose.”

The letter continues to say that Trump does not have permission to use the song, and should he continue to play the track, he would be violating copyright laws.

“Pharrell has not, and will not, grant you permission to publicly perform or otherwise broadcast or disseminate any of his music,” the letter adds.

Despite the hateful gunman’s deadly shooting at the Pittsburgh synagogue during prayers, Trump decided not to cancel his rally in Indiana later that day. But during the event, he joked that he almost canceled because he had a “bad hair day.”

Meanwhile, T.I. praised Pharrell for firing off the cease-and-desist letter to Trump. The rapper took to Instagram to share his opinion on the move and channeled Denzel Washington ala “Training Day.”

“My Ni**a’ – Denzel voice, Expected Nothing Less from Big Bro,” he wrote.

Williams joins a growing list of artists who have publicly refused to have their music associated with Trump, including the estate of Prince, Adele, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Tom Petty, and Elton John and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler.
