Dr. Phil Says Kanye West Uses Social Media As PR Stunt

*Since his mother died in 2008, Kanye West has been tethering the line between sanity and being placed in a psychiatrist hold at UCLA medical. In recent years, his twitter tirades have made headlines more often than any new music he drops. West continues to gift fans with a VIP view of his eradicate behavior, which finds him constantly ranting and bickering with women online (Amber Rose, Taylor Swift), attacking paparazzi, blasting anyone who doesn’t consider Kim Kardashian a deity, and his most recent SNL meltdown

You don’t need the official title of therapist to suspect West of suffering from some sort of borderline social disorder. TV therapist Dr. Phil recently diagnosed the traumatized rapper, whose constant Twitter tirades offer deeper insight into his mental issues, with oversharing.

Paging Dr. Phil… Kanye crazy.

His antics go beyond oversharing. The man seems bored with life, marriage and his career – with his never-ending Twitter tirades, and his recent meltdown behind-the-scenes at SNL. West may need some strong meds, or a hug from the Oracle.

“Everybody thinks stuff sometimes,” Dr. Phil McGraw stated on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Monday. “You’ll think of something really stupid, but we’re in a society now, we’re in a generation now, where everybody thinks you got to have an audience for everything.”

Corden suggested West go on the ABC entrepreneurial show “Shark Tank” and seek investments.

“Listen, I don’t need to know that you just brushed your teeth,” Dr. Phil said. “And I don’t need a picture of it, I don’t need a film of it, but we’re so narcissistic now, everybody’s doing selfies of themselves brushing their teeth. I don’t care. But everybody has to post it up … But now, you say something incredibly stupid, it just goes wall-to-wall. They’re reading it in China in five seconds, so it just goes all over the place. You used to [be able to] be stupid and get away with it.”

When asked if he believes Kanye’s twitter rants are PR stunts, Dr. Phil replied: “You can’t be that wrong that many times in a row unless you’re working at it.”
