*From the author of “A Dog’s Purpose“ comes a new story of a dog’s love and bond with her owner. “A Dog’s Way Home“ tells the story of Bella, voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard, who is separated from her owner and is very determined to find her way home.
Not only is this movie about the dog’s love but it’s also about the owner. How they bond with their pets, their pets turning into family, and becoming a support system. If you are a person that doubts the importance of a support dog, you need to see this film it will change your mind.

EURweb correspondent L.Marie sat down with Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays the voice of Bella the dog, as she spoke on how her childhood dog once saved her brother’s life. Similar to a scene in the movie, Bryce’s dog had to dig her brother out of the snow. Bryce emphasized how it’s not about if there was one time her dogs were there for her, saying “It’s not a question of when, it’s everyday my dogs are there for me.”

This film also shows a dog’s resilience, because we have domesticated dogs and cats we tend to forget that they are animals with the instinct to survive. While Bella is on her journey home she has to find food and shelter. During this process she makes friends with other dogs and an unlikely bond develops while she is in the wild. In the film there were some that felt threatened by Bella’s breed, the movie shows us just as we shouldn’t judge people by their looks the same applies for dogs. “A breed does not determine a personality.” Says Bryce Dallas Howard.
Whether you are a dog/pet owner or not this film will surely warm your heart, so don’t miss “A Dog’s Way Home” when it hits theaters January 11.
