EUR Flashback: Terrence Howard’s Wife, Mira, Says He ‘Often’ Brings His ‘A–hole’ ‘Empire’ Character Home [VIDEO]

*As we previously reported, Terrence Howard is giving married life with his ex-wife, Mira Pak, another try as he proposed to her over the weekend and she said yes!

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ … the “Empire” star popped the question Sunday night at Crustacean Beverly Hills in front of friends and family.

Howard impressed his former ex with a 7-carat VVS diamond and rose gold engagement ring reportedly worth about a million bucks.

Terrence and Mira were married in 2013 but she filed for divorce in 2015 while pregnant with the couple’s first kid, Qirin. They rekindled the romance earlier this year.

Prior to their divorce, Howard and Pak had an odd exchange on the Emmys 2016 red carpet in L.A.

During an interview with Giuliana Rancic, Howard, who was nominated for his role as music mogul Lucious Lyon on “Empire,” explained why he took a break from the spotlight.

“You have to go to a dark place to find a character like Lucious. You try to figure out how you’re going to play him and you’re not really ready to talk about him,” he said. “Now I feel more comfortable about him.”

When Rancic asked him to share more about his character, Howard replied, “He’s an a–hole.”

The E! News host then asked Pak, “Does he bring his character home with him?” to which she jokingly responded: “He does, quite often, actually.”

As reported by Us Weekly, social media users were quick to bring up past domestic abuse allegations against Howard after his wife’s comment.

“VERRRY awkward hearing noted domestic abuser Terrence Howard’s wife say he brings his Empire character ‘home with him often,’” one tweeter wrote, while another added, “That awkward moment when Terrence Howard’s wife says he brings his character home with him and no one knows what to say for a second.”

Howard briefly addressed the abuse allegations in a Rolling Stone interview in 2015, specifically an incident with his first wife, Lori McCommas, in 2001. “She was talking to me real strong, and I lost my mind and slapped her in front of the kids,” he said. “Her lawyer said it was a closed fist, but even slapping her was wrong.”

Terrence has a thing for remarrying an ex-wife. He married McCommas in 1989 and they divorced in 2003 but tied the knot again in 2005 … only to divorce 2 years later. Howard was also briefly married to Michelle Ghent from 2010 to 2013.
