*Apparently Kevin Hart has a ride or podna in Nick Cannon ’cause earlier today Nick went to bat for Hart who recently lost his Oscars hosting gig over some old homophobic tweets.
The “Wild N’ Out” star took to Twitter to put three well-known comics on blast who had did the same back, but haven’t received the kind of flack that Hart is getting.
Nick dug into the timelines of old posts from Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer.
“Interesting,” he wrote regarding one of Handler’s tweets dating back to 2010, which contained a blatantly homophobic term to describe a bird. “I wonder if there was any backlash here…”
Next, he found a 2010 remark from Sarah Silverman using similar language to describe the new “Bachelorette,” along with a 2012 tweet from Amy, who also used a derogatory word.
“I’m just saying,” he snarked. “Should we keep going???”

Meanwhile, another Twitter user must’ve thought they had scored a “gotcha” on Cannon when he was told he should be auditing his own tweets.
Cannon responded …
“Nope!! You know I’ve been saying f**ked up s**t since twitter started! I don’t play that politically correct bulls**t! F**k politics!! Only Truth!”

Nick obviously practices what he preaches. in a 2012 tweet, he wrote: “If your best joke includes “gay” or “f****t” you should be kicked off Twitter this ain’t the 3rd grade! #notaninsult #lackofcreativity”
As far as the Oscar gig is concerned, part of the reason Kevin Hart was kicked to the curb was because he initially refused to apologize for the old comments, but he did address the issue via an IG video message.
“I work hard on a daily basis to spread positivity to all,” Kevin said in a video message on Dec. 7. “With that being said. If u want to search my history or past and anger yourselves with what u find that is fine with me. I’m almost 40 years old and I’m in love with the man that I am becoming. You LIVE and YOU LEARN & YOU GROW & YOU MATURE. I live to Love…”
So there, he kinda, sorta apologized. Yeah, kinda, sorta. Also, in another post, he broke it down,saying that he didn’t want to say he was sorry when asked by the Academy because he had already addressed the comments several times in the past.
