Kanye West Talks Mental Health with David Letterman; Has Dinner with Lavar Ball [WATCH]

*David Letterman and Kanye West chop it up for the second season of the Netflix talk show, “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” and judging by the response to the news on social media, fans are here for it!

According to Vulture, West was interviewed by Letterman last week at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Centre in Los Angeles.

As noted by nme.com, Twitter and Instagram users shared images from the interview, which you can see some of below. Kim Kardashian was also in the house.

One attendee wrote on Instagram: “We just watched a taping of @netflix My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with @letterman . We had no idea who the guest would be. Ended up being #kanyewest . Yup, @kimkardashian was there too.”

Another wrote on Twitter: “I really can’t believe I started the year by sitting in a room with 3 legends… David Letterman, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian..just wow”

Letterman and West reportedly dished heavily about mental health. Both have previously spoken openly about their own issues with their mental health.

In related news, the rapper recently teased listeners with new music during the latest installment of his Sunday Service sessions. According to TMZ, Kanye is said to be in Miami recording his upcoming “Yandhi” album with Lil Wayne, Migos, Timbaland and 2 Chainz.

The project was originally slated for a September 29, 2018 release, but Ye delayed it in order to head to Africa for recording.

“I need to go, I need to find out what it’s really called,” he told TMZ, “Just grab the soil and be and cook food, five meals a day so the metabolism stays up, have my kids in the studio, and have the mic in the open so you can hear nature while we’re recording.”

In October, rapper Quavo confirmed his his group Migos are set to feature on the record.

“I did a record for [Kanye], we did a record for ‘Yandhi’,” he told Power 106’s The Cruz Show, “He called us.”

Meanwhile, in the latest “Ball in the Family” episode on Facebook Watch, Kanye makes a surprise appearance at the JBA game then sits down for a intimate dinner with Lavar Ball. They also discuss the possibility of adding Kanye to the Big Baller Brand creative team.
